THE PETRODOLLAR DRIVES US RULING CLASS IMPERIALISM

If you are not talking about the politics of oil and the petrodollar, you are not talking about geopolitics. Petrodollar protection explains all of America's moves post Cold War. The US Ruling Class have to control the price of oil in order to sustain oil and gas production at home (i.e. maintain profitability) and to control world trade. The US Ruling Class have forced the World to pay for oil in dollars. This drives the demand for dollars. This inflates the value of the dollar. It creates an identity. The dollar is oil. If you don't have dollars, you cannot buy oil. The end of the petrodollar spells the demise of America's unipolar moment. The multipolar age is here. 

GOLDILOCKS OIL

The US Ruling Class needs to keep the price of oil in a Goldilocks range. It cannot be too cheap nor can it be too expensive. If it is too cheap then US domestic producers cannot compete. They go out of business. If it is too expensive, then US consumers & businesses cannot afford it. This drives inflation  & slows economic growth. If high prices last long enough it could even potentially lead to the development of serious fuel alternatives. This has happened to a degree with rise of electric cars. 

Ask yourself this question - would American oil be profitable, if Iran, Iraq, Libya & Venezuela were not sidelined by sanctions and producing at full capacity? US shale oil production could not survive in a true free market world. That's why the US Ruling Class (who are heavily invested in petroleum) use their military to regulate the world oil market. Biden's cabinet choices shows this to be the case. Look at the choice of Blinken as Secretary of State read his book ALLY VERSUS ALLY. This proxy war is all about saving the US petroleum industry. They were going bankrupt prior to Covid which exacerbated the crisis. Then the whole industry collapsed when the Russians and Saudis dropped the price of oil. The Ukraine War has made shale oil and gas profitable once again. It has saved the bacon of America's Petroleum Oligarchs. 

In the 1970's the US declared "We control the oil."

HYBRID WORLD WAR 3

We are in a hybrid WW3 for control of world energy resources i.e. the war to destroy the petrodollar. It started as a response to US sanctions on Nord Stream 2 in November 2019 with the release of Covid-19. The pandemic decreased demand for oil then the so called Saudi-Russian price war drove down the price of oil to 30 dollars per barrel. This killed the US fracking market. They had to be bailed out by the US taxpayer. Then things got hot. The Russians responded to US provocations in Ukraine and intervened. I think the war will end up in a Black Ops nuclear terrorist phase. The Russian nuclear weapons GRU Colonel Stanislav Lunev said were cached inside CONUS will be used again as they were used on 911. 

Western Ukraine is going to be a tough nut to crack. It will be used as a base of terrorist operations - aka special operations - inside mother Russia. The Russians are not likely going to tolerate another Chechen style US Special Ops led campaign that targets maternity wards and elementary schools. The whole thing could spin out of control into a nuclear terrorist war. A war where Special Forces of the US/NATO and RU, sheep dipped as "terrorists" blow up the city centers of the industrialized world. 

The timing of the problems with Starlink were timed to coincide with American nuclear exercises. Reports of Russian jamming of US doomsday bands go back to early April. Ham Radio Operators reported it.

The head of Nigeria’s National Petroleum Corp., Mele Kyari, announced the news in a tweet Wednesday, which was later confirmed by OPEC.

“We lost our esteemed Dr Muhammad Sanusi Barkindo,” a tweet early Wednesday morning from his verified Twitter handle read.

“He died at about 11pm yesterday 5th July 2022. Certainly a great loss to his immediate family, the NNPC, our country Nigeria, the OPEC and the global energy community. Burial arrangements will be announced shortly.”

The cause of death has not been announced.

Barkindo’s unexpected death came as a shock to members of the oil and gas world, many of whom describe him as a giant in the industry. 

His career spanned over four decades and included work at Nigeria’s National Petroleum Corp.,  Duke Oil, Nigeria’s Foreign Ministry and Energy Ministry, as well as OPEC.

Since taking the helm as secretary-general of OPEC in 2016, Barkindo oversaw tumultuous times for the oil producer group, which witnessed volatile markets rocked by historic events including the Covid-19 pandemic, the creation of the OPEC+ alliance with Russia and other non-OPEC states, and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

While the organization lost two members, Qatar and Ecuador, during that time, Barkindo is nonetheless credited with guiding unity among the group’s members in an effort to stabilize global oil markets.

Barkindo’s death comes at a time of volatile energy markets, global inflation, growing climate risks, and continued fallout from the pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war. Geopolitical conflicts and sanctions have led to much tighter oil supplies, pushing prices to multiyear highs amid fears of a global recession.

Barkindo had just been awarded a distinguished fellowship at the Atlantic Council, set to begin upon the completion of his term at OPEC on July 31.

Atlantic Council CEO Frederick Kempe had previously described Barkindo as having “unparalleled expertise on oil markets, security, and governance” and “a deep understanding of geopolitics in a volatile world.”

In a statement included in the council’s July 1 announcement of the new fellowship, Barkindo had said, “I am deeply honored to have been recognized as a distinguished fellow at the Atlantic Council ... I look forward to contributing to the organization’s work on a plethora of energy-related issues, at a time when the world’s eyes are focused on both short- and long-term energy market outlooks.”

THE US SAUDI SQUEEZE

 

The US has been squeezing Saudi Arabia for decades falsely accusing them of being the perpetrators of 911. The Saudis are not the culprits. The Russians are. 911 was the response to numerous American provocations inside Russia during the 1990's. The US tried to break Russia up with a proxy terrorist campaign inside Russia ie Chechnya, it crashed the Ruble, US economic warfare shock therapy killed millions of Russians, the USS Memphis and Toledo sank Kursk. I think MBS knows this. Because the Saudis were the cutout for US support of Islamic Radicalism inside Russia in the 90's. 

Well, the Russians have been patient. It looks like they have flipped Saudi Arabia to a degree.

Air Force One Guidance Systems Allegedly Sent to Russia

All thanks to Paco for sending me this link. It is more evidence for the thesis that Air Force One was under threat of being electronically hijacked on 911. The threat "Angel is next," can only mean the next plane to be hijacked. The four airliners were electronically hijacked. The precision strike on the NOC/DIA offices at the Pentagon show that to be the case. During the 1990's Boeing began collaborating with the Russians. They built a center in Moscow. Honeywell contracted with AVIPRIBOR allowing them to make avionics components. Russia also bought Boeing airliners for its state airline. Many Russian computer programmers had made their way to the USA to work. The Russians were in a great position to re-engineer Boeing equipment and put malicious code in avionics systems.

Air Force One Guidance Systems Allegedly Sent to Russia

Northrop Grumman to pay $15M for alleged 1998 export of navigation system code.

April 18, 2008— -- State Department investigators found that a subsidiary of a major defense contractor provided portions of the computer source code of Air Force One to a company in Russia in 1998, according to a little-noticed consent agreement reached earlier this month.

The documents, filed by the State Department, noted that the alleged violation by a subsidiary of defense contractor Northrop Grumman "resulted in harm to the U.S. national security."

Specifically, the source code involved the inertial navigation software systems that are unique to the presidential aircraft.

The violations were allegedly committed by Litton Industries, which Northrop Grumman bought in 2001. Northrop has agreed to pay a $15 million fine for 110 violations of the Arms Export Control Act and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.

The proposed charging document from the State Department Directorate of Defense Trade Controls released on April 2, noted, "Between September 1998 and November 1998, Respondent provided portions of the source code related to the LTN-92 INS modified for use on Air Force One to a company in Russia without authorization from the Department."

Northrop Grumman's Web site offers a description of the system, saying, "The LTN-92 uses three-ring laser gyros, force rebalanced accelerometers, and three high-speed digital microprocessors to provide an advanced technology, all-attitude, worldwide navigation system offering up to five times the reliability of mechanical inertial navigation systems."

The charging letters note that the guidance and navigation system interface "with other cockpit devices utilized on Air Force One and certain source code unique to Air Force One. ... The United States Government has never authorized the export of this critical source code, even to our closest allies.

"This unauthorized export resulted in Russia obtaining knowledge in developing critical INS software that is specifically unique to Air Force One," the document noted.

In addition, the documents filed by the State Department say that between 1994 and 2003, the firms failed to notify the State Department about the computer guidance systems also being transferred to Angola, Indonesia, Israel, China, Ukraine and Yemen.

Northrop Grumman released a statement to ABC News noting that the majority of the violations happened before the company acquired Litton Industries, and that upon the discovery of the exports the company "immediately investigated the matter and submitted voluntary self-disclosures beginning in 2004" to the State Department. The statement added that the company "fully cooperated in the subsequent review" by the government.

According to a spokesman for the firm, Northrop will be implementing internal oversight and compliance as part of the consent agreement as well as paying the $15 million fine.

In a related matter Friday, Honeywell disclosed in Securities Exchange Commission filings that last month, the firm was contacted by the State Department about its export of similar navigation systems.

The document filed with the SEC noted, "In March 2008, the U.S. Department of State advised Honeywell that it is reviewing Honeywell's compliance with applicable U.S. export controls in connection with the Company's export of its GG1320 gyros and related inertial navigation systems under State and Commerce Department licenses. Honeywell is cooperating with the State Department's review."

Hello Mr. Holloway, I have recently read your blog and find it to be quite interesting. I had few questions which are stuck in my mind: 1.Who were creators of ISIS? Cause these folks have killed both US and Russian troops. 2. If US does have technologies like ANP, Starlink, etc., do you see them defeating China+Russia Axis if next war happens? 3. How do you see position of India? Cause they are at the moment friendly to both, US as well as Russia. They are moving towards US but also refusing to name and shame Russia. 4.Do you see China attaining technological edge over US in upcoming decades? 5.You said that the US empire's end is at the horizon. Then what would happen to the elites? What would happen to their techs? Regards.

1.      I don’t know who created ISIS. I do think that the Islamic Fundamentalist movement has been taken over by intelligence agencies. The first Islamic Fundamentalist attack of note took place on the Riyadh TV station. The fundamentalists objected to television on the grounds that it violated Koranic Law on graven images. They since have done a complete 180 degree turn on TV. Bin Laden was not camera shy. I think US actions since 1990 in the Middle East and Africa were taken to bolster the petrodollar, remove former Soviet clients from the board and the personal self-enrichment of the American Ruling Class. The “war on terrorism” was a cover for a war on Russia’s global influence. These actions illustrate the corrupt nature of the American Ruling Class. The Bush Family made a fortune in the petroleum industry. Dick Cheney also made a fortune in the petroleum industry. Using the American military to line your own pockets is as corrupt as it gets.

2.       It is possible. If there was ever a time to use them in a pre-emptive war, the current crisis with China and Russia would be ideal. The revelation of US space-based weaponry would be destabilizing. After committing the greatest genocide in human history the USA will go down in history as the most ruthless empire of all time. No one will care about the Nazis anymore. The US preemptive attack will reveal to the world they are in violation of the treaty banning space based weaponry. If the US has a fleet of Single Stage To Orbit (SSTO) Space Shuttle bombers it would violate the spirit of the treaty but not the letter of the law. These space bombers (depending on how good US maps are) could probably take out the bunkers the Chinese and Russians are likely to be hiding inside of. (The bunkers can be seen supposedly using Muon Tomography.) The Russians and the Chinese definitely know about the US military space program. They have countermeasures. Even if the US were to use these weapons and “win.” (“Win” is defined as US command and control survives and the enemy's does not.) It is likely to be a pyrrhic victory. I doubt the oligarchs want to live in a hollowed-out mountain, moon, or Mars colony for the rest of their lives.

3.       If I were the dictator of India or any nation, among other things I would nationalize the energy sector and build the nuclear energy infrastructure needed to be energy independent. That would blunt the impact or potential impact of the Petrodollar or the coming Petroruble. Use that cheap gas to enrich uranium and make fuel for reactors. Build breeder reactors to make the most of India’s uranium reserves. I think that India is going with Russia. They are part of BRICS and have long been a buyer of Russian/Soviet military hardware.

4.      China already produces more patents than the USA. They are 20 years ahead of the USA in hypersonic wind tunnel technology. They can assemble a carrier in a year. They have an industrial base 3x greater than the USA. Their Belt and Road Initiative nullifies American sea power. The USN cannot blockade the Belt and Road Initiative. Only time will tell if China becomes a global hegemon. So far though it looks like they really do want to help other countries by developing them.
US industrialists moved their manufacturing to China. They did not think they owed their fellow Americans a job. They wanted to discipline the American working class. And make more money.

5.       I think that the USA is in for some rough times. There is a real bourgeois schism taking place along culture war lines. But, that is likely to be overwhelmed by a legitimacy crisis and the coming economic crisis. All the problems that were just kicked down the road for the last 50 years are coming to roost all at the same time. It could playout like the 1930’s with an increase in Social Democracy or it could go full fascist. The Republicans have put together the infrastructure to overturn presidential elections on the state level if they don’t like the outcome. If and when they use that power to install a fascist dictator all hell is going to break loose. The Republicans wanted and supported fascism in the 1930’s. They tried to overthrow Roosevelt in a failed conspiracy known as the ¨Business Plot.¨ They wanted to install General Smedley Butler as dictator of the USA. I think that is what they will try to do to solve the crisis and it will fail. They are going to have to deal with civil unrest that has never been seen in the USA. The USA is already one of the most repressive regimes on Earth. People are atomized living in car dependent suburbs. We have the largest prison population and a militarized police force. The current institutions having lost all legitimacy are going to have a hard time keeping a lid on things. There is a real possibility that an IRA style insurgency kicks off in the cities. The Ruling Class in the USA is fucked. They believe their own propaganda about capitalism being the greatest system ever. They hate the idea of the government being used to help the working class. They hate the idea of economic planning. The person who has a plan is going to do better than the person who doesn’t. The same thing goes for nations. The US is going to have to make some real changes if it wants to remain relevant in the coming decades.
