The suppression of nuclear technology is preventing the colonization of the solar system and the scientific discoveries that would come from manned exploration of the solar system. So, science has been setback 50 years.
It also means that the energy wars being fought by Americans in the Middle East are all for nothing.
(Although, I now realize that the war in Central Asia i.e. Afghanistan is all about trying to contain China by denying it access to the historic Silk Road route that ran through Afghanistan.)
It means that people die all over the world from being denied access to electricity. The wonders of refrigeration, air conditioning and heating have the power to save lives. So many people in the exploited areas of the American Empire known as the "Third World" die from lack of such "luxuries." Americans are being ripped off by the energy cartels that corrupt our government. They are the ones who benefit the most from the suppression of nuclear. Suppression of nuclear energy protects their profits.
The American Ruling Class is truly evil for what they are doing.
