THE RUSSIANS DO NOT CONTROL THEIR OWN AIRSPACE

The whole point of building planes like the Canberra, U-2, SR-71, Aurora etc is air superiority. This was the true role these planes played. They were not used merely for reconnaissance. These planes were built to showcase American Air Superiority. The Soviets never built any planes comparable to them. These planes are used in an ongoing psychological warfare campaign that has been waged since the late 1940's against the Soviet Union and now Russia. Using these planes the American Ruling Class can bomb Russia at anytime. Since Russia lacks the ability to shoot down the Aurora and since this plane, or more likely its successor, is in their skies; the Russians do not control their own airspace.
